Hello and welcome to the Home Page of the 5th LEEK (ST MARY'S) SCOUT GROUP web site.

We are situated in Leek, North Staffordshire in England on the edge of The Peak District.

This web site is intended to provide information not just for the members of 5th LEEK but for other members of the Scouting Movement as well.

We hope to let the web site grow but we can only do this with help from YOU.

The 22nd World Scout Jamboree is coming.

There are three 5th Leek members attending the 22nd World Scout Jamboree - being held in Rinkaby, Sweden between 27th July and the 7th August 2011.

Becky - One of our scouts has been selected to take part as a young member of the Staffidrshire Contingent 

Simon - One of the Scout section Leadership team has been selected to take part as a member of the Staffordshire Contingent Leadership Team

Phil - Our Group Scout Leader has been selected to attend as a member of the International Service Team (IST) and will be there helping to run the whole experience.

Congratulations to all three in managing to secure their places and we hope that they enjoy their time over in Sweden.
